The ACSA Equity State Committee has developed an Equity Tool designed to facilitate conversations that lead toward actionable outcomes based on the committee’s definition of equity. The committee’s definition of equity states “Equity is the moral imperative to provide access and support for all marginalized persons to realize their personal best; liberating all through the eradication of systemic, cultural, and institutionalized forms of oppression.”
- This workshop will introduce participants to a reflective tool designed to increase equity within actions and organizations.
- This workshop will provide participants with an overview of the Equity Tool and recommendations of pre-work prior to using the tool to strengthen outcomes.
