I have over 20 years of experience in education as a teacher and administrator. I am currently the Director of Student Services and have held that position for the last two years. Before my current  position, I was the Principal of Joe Baca Middle School in the Colton Joint Unified School District. 

As Director of Student Services , I have been responsible for helping change School Climate and Culture. We have developed and implemented PBIS and attendance programs at the secondary school level. The programs are designed around teacher, student, and parent involvement.  Our Family Engagement Program has received the Golden Bell Award.

Currently, I am the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. We have successfully negotiated department restructures in multiple areas, settled our contract for the 2023/2024 school year, and are negotiating the Classified Job Evaluation.
